John Piper once said, "Missions exists because worship doesn't." We believe that God desires for all nations to worship Him. We also believe that God is a missional God who calls His people to be "on mission" with Him. We are motivated to be on mission because of the Gospel, the "good news" of Jesus Christ. It was Jesus who died on the cross as our Savior and it was Jesus who would command us to, "...go and make disciples of all nations..." In a desire to be a picture of the Kingdom and proclaim our King, we are committed...
...to serve the poor, the hurting, and the afflicted, and...
...to share the good news of salvation in Jesus, calling people to place their faith in Him.
Global missions take us out of our comfort zones into a needy world. At Grace Bible Church, we understand we cannot meet all the needs that exist in the world, but doing nothing is not an option. As a result, our philosophy of global missions is to develop a long-term relationship with a national pastor, serving alongside of that church as we, together, reach the surrounding community for Jesus.

Haiti 2012
Rebuild HAITI 2012
Trips: Rebuilding hearts for Christ. Grace has partnered with Haitian
pastors and community leaders to lift up its people and together seek the
Kingdom of God. Your help is urgently needed so we can provide food and relief to
those affected & so we can start the rebuilding process: elementary school,
cafeteria, children’s home, orphanage repairs, water and medical needs. Cost: $1000.00 USD per person. (Includes flight, room & board,
local travel, materials and meals). Application & $300.00 non-refundable deposit is due at
registration.
March 8-15, deadline
to register has already passed.
June 21-28, deadline to register is April 1, 2012.
October 4-11, deadline to register is July 1, 2012.
Requirements: Passport. Must be 18 years or older. Children ages

Acuna
Approximately once per
quarter, a team of people travels to Acuna, just across the border from Del
Rio, Texas. We have built a relationship
there with an orphanage and church. Our
vision: To reach a child, build a church, and change a community.

Sewing Dresses for Acuna & Haiti
Several ladies at Grace have gathered together to sew dresses that can be given away to little girls in Acuna and Haiti. These beautiful dresses provide many young girls the opportunity to wear a nice dress on Sunday when they come to church.

Practical ways to be "on mission" globally
- Support Global Missions through your financial support. You can give directly online by clicking the "Online Giving" link at the top of this page, then donate to the Global Missions Fund.
- Sponsor a Haitian child through school. In Haiti, one year of education costs approximately $150 a year. By sponsoring a child, you provide open doors for the next generation. If you would like to sponsor a child, just include "Global Missions--Haitian Education" on the memo line.
- Sponsor a Haitian worker. Each time we serve in Haiti, we hire members of their church and community to work alongside of us for $10 a day. This money is used to provide food and necessary supplies for themselves and their families. If you would like to do this, just include "Global Missions--Haitian worker" on the memo line.
- Join the team of ladies who sew dresses for little girls in Acuna and Haiti. Contact Joyce Beck at 830.779.1045.
- Pray for those who go on these trips. Pray for their safety, for God's provision, that God would be glorified, and that many would hear about Jesus.
- Go on a trip! Take the risk, it will be an incredible experience that you will never forget or regret!
